Compact, no-scroll orders table in UK 🇬‍🇧

We've tidied up our orders table so that it's easier to view order details when you're on a small screen.

  1. More information in order column - the order status, order number, and order date are in the same column.
  2. Shipping columns are shown first - customer details, ship by dates, and delivery method are shown together.
  3. Printed Status - If an order has been printed, look for the printer icon in the order column. If you don't see the icon, the order hasn't been printed.
  4. Picked Status - If an order has been picked, look for the picked icon in the order column. If you don't see the icon, the order hasn't been picked.
  5. Employee or Customer Notes - If an order has any employee or customer notes, hover over the notes icon in the order column to see note details. If you don't see the icon, the order doesn't have any notes.
  6. Payment status and Order total will be one column - A badge with “Paid” or “Unpaid” will appear above the order total depending on the order's payment status

New Tags on the Inventory Table

Adding tags to your products is helpful to filter and categorise your products.

We’ve now updated the way product tags are created and edited on the inventory table, for individual products and in bulk.

You can also now:

  • Search tags by name
  • sort them alphabetically, with the option to show them A-Z or Z-A
  • filter between all, selected, and unselected tags

Everything in a new fresh look.

For more information on tags on the inventory table check out this guide.

Show full delivery method

When an order has a very long delivery method it would be cut off making it hard to identify what option the customer selected at the checkout. This made it more difficult to accurately prioritise which orders should be picked, packed and shipped first.

Now we show the full delivery method on the orders table

Renaming of Backlog in Picking Dashboard

To help make the Picking Dashboard more easier to understand we have renamed "Backlog" to "at the start of the working day". This number shows the total number of products that were needing to be picked. It includes any products that were still not picked from the previous day

For more information on using the Picking Dashboard check out This Helpguide.

Export only selected products

Choose to export only specific product variants on the Inventory Page, instead of waiting for your entire product catalog to be downloaded. Because the file size is smaller, your export will also be ready much faster.

There are several export options:

  • Only export selected variants
  • Only export variants on the current page
  • Only export all variants in the current filter
  • Export all variants

This feature is available on the new Inventory Page, which we’re currently hard at work building. If you’re interested in participating in the beta, please click here.

Faster bulk shipping

Bulk creating shipping labels will now be faster and substantially faster if your orders contain multiple products and bundle products.

We have moved calculating inventory qty levels to be asynchronous when shipping to enable this speed boost, which means it might take a few seconds to the inventory move from "committed" to "actual" but this will not impact your available inventory levels.

Closing partially refunded orders on Shopify

If you create a partial refund for an order on Shopify and ship it later on Veeqo, it won’t update a status on Shopify, which might lead for an order to be missed. You will now receive a notification from Veeqo in such cases that will remind you to visit Shopify and close an order there.

Prevent Shipping Zero Weight Orders With Royal Mail

Veeqo allowed you to ship using Royal Mails service "INTL BUS PARCELS TRACKED COUNTRY PRICED" without setting a weight. This would result in Royal Mail having to update your Royal Mail invoices to be charged correctly.

To avoid issues with billing Veeqo will prevent you from shipping without setting a weight.

For more information on Royal Mail check out This Guide

Avoid Multiple Allocations by Default

Veeqo makes allocation more seamless.

By default, Veeqo now assumes retailers will ship goods allocated from the same warehouse in the same package.

Inventory will now automatically be added to one allocation per warehouse. This enables you to ship all goods in one package without the manual effort of changing allocations.

How does it work?

  • If this applies to your business, no further action is required. Keep the checkbox checked (in red below) when allocating inventory to an order.
  • If you would like to split a shipment across multiple packages, you can uncheck the checkbox. Please see this guide for more details.

Include UPS Bulk Shipping On Carrier Report

UPS shipments that have been created by bulk shipping are also included on the Carrier Report. This helps improve the accuracy of the report so you can gain better insights on how much your company is being charged by each carrier over time.

To check it out head to Reports>Carrier Shipments.
